Business Grade Durability
When you're shopping for a durable computer, one of the most important things to know is that there are three different types of rugged laptops. There’s fully-rugged, semi-rugged, and business-rugged. A fully rugged laptop is the most durable because of its magnesium alloy chassis and water-resistant enclosure. They are typically very thick and heavy. Semi-rugged computers are still highly durable but lighter and slimmer, making them better for working when you are constantly moving. Then there is the business-rugged computer, essentially a very lightweight, rugged computer for those who don’t need something heavy-duty but need something tougher than your ordinary consumer-grade laptop.
The Panasonic CF-C2 is water resistant, meaning it can still function after being sprayed lightly. That being said, it’s not entirely waterproof, but it can handle being out in the rain with a light spray. If you try drenching it with the water hose, you might run into some problems.

If you require a computer with Windows 10, the CF-C2 is a very viable option. Windows 11, however, will not work as the processor is not quite powerful enough. So, if you are running a particular program or prefer Windows 10, the CF C2 Toughbook is an excellent choice.
The Panasonic CF C2 has 3 USB ports, with two being 3.0 and the third being 2.0. Some other available ports are an HDMI port and an RJ45 jack, which provides a gigabit networking connection when hooked up to the wall.

The upgradability of the Panasonic Toughbook CF-C2 is what makes it stand out from other choices. You can add a second serial port or another VGA port. If you’re doing these upgrades yourself, the second RAM slot is a bit tricky to upgrade, but it’s doable.
