This 160GB, 5400RPM SATA hard drive was pulled from a refurb unit.
Most are made by Hitachi, but we'll occasionally find one from Fujitsu. Either way, the specs are identical. These will work with just about any modern laptop. If you are using something old (like a CF-18), it may only take IDE drives. Otherwise, this is just a pretty standard hard drive.
160GB is enough to save about 40,000 mp3 files or one 893,670-page Word 2003 document, give or take a few thousand pages. You'll probably use the space for something else, though- but it's really up to you.
