Limited Lifetime Warranty

Description:

This limited lifetime warranty applies to all of our laptops and desktop/tower computers.  It includes 30-day parts and labor and a labor only warranty thereafter.  This warranty is non-transferable and only applies to the units sold from our website at website prices.  Not included are wholesale lots, scratch and dent specials and/or eBay sales.  At no time are the laptop batteries included with our laptops a part of this warranty agreement.  See our Laptop Battery Information page.

Terms:

This limited lifetime warranty is enforce during the time for which you own the laptop and is non-transferable.

Coverage:

This Limited Lifetime Warranty is only available for the Laptops and Desktop/Tower Computers that we sell.

All parts are covered excluding the battery included with our used laptops.  The first 30 days we will cover the keyboard, system board, and related boards, optical drives (CDROM, DVD, CDRW, etc) Floppy drives, ac adapter and screen.  The entire laptop, excluding the battery, is covered.

Not Covered:

The Laptop Battery included with our used laptops and/or any physical damage (i.e. from dropping the laptop, liquid damage, etc).  Any damage as a result of shipping.

Returned Warranty Repairs:

To request Warranty Service, you must contact Bob Johnson's Computer Stuff within the warranty period and inform us about the problem.  To do so, please email or simply call us at 1-302-659-2727.  We will determine the solution and if needed will issue a RMA Number.  When you call please have your laptop and/or computer in front of you with your invoice number.  No returns will be accepted without a RMA number.  You can then send the laptop and/or Computer back to us.  You are responsible for all shipping costs.

2. Return via FedEx, UPS, or DHL only.
3. Declare the total value of the laptop(s) (Insurance)
4. Include a written explanation of the problem.

6. All components must be shipped with the laptop(s) i.e. all drives, ac adapters, batteries, cables.
7. Must include a copy of the original invoice along with the RMA number written on the outside of the box.

Additional Information:

The Bob Johnson's Computer Stuff warranty does not cover hardware or other peripherals attached to the laptop except for those already supplied at the time of purchase.  In addition, any software or operating system not already preloaded onto your laptop and / or computer at the time of purchase is not covered by this warranty.

We try to diagnose warranty issues within 72 hours of receiving the equipment, However it can take upto 3 weeks (or longer depending on availability of parts) to repair your computer.  Once your Laptop and / or computer has been repaired we ship the unit back via UPS ground service.  If you require a faster method you can request it at your expense or we can ship the Laptop and/or computer back on your shipping account number using the carrier of your choice.
